Harris Keillar, Managing Director
Harris has over twenty five years' recruitment experience, with the majority being within financial services. MBA qualified, he was a director with one of the large nationals prior to opening Keillar Resourcing in 1996. Much of his time is spent advising clients and candidates on their career options and assisting client companies with their expansion plans. Successful placements have included Head of Sales for Asia, Senior Underwriter in Sydney, Head of Sales for an asset management house and a multi-lingual Head of Marketing for an offshore office. Harris is Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. All Keillar Resourcing employees pride themselves on operating in a highly ethical way, treating candidates and clients with integrity at all times.
Gregor Ormond, Associate Director
After successfully completing an honours degree in business studies, Gregor joined Citigroup within their investment valuations team. Wishing to gain a greater insight and focus on front of house operations, he joined Keillar Resourcing in 2005 and has now successfully recruited throughout the UK and international markets at all levels assisting life office, asset management and wealth manager clients. Building on this, Gregor continues to focus heavily on sales and marketing roles supporting global clients in the intermediary marketplace. Gregor is a member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals and holds the Certificate in Recruitment Practice (CertRP).
David Tait, Associate Director
David has been involved in the financial services markets for over 10 years, initially as an IFA and latterly in the recruitment of financial services personnel. A fully qualified financial adviser and holder of the Diploma in Recruitment Practice (DipRP), David is also currently studying towards his investment management qualifications (IMC). Having established a number of key clients throughout the UK and internationally, David has successfully staffed offices in Europe and the Middle East and appoints mid to senior level individuals. David is also an individual member of the Institute of Recruitment Professionals (IRP).
Gary Strachan, Consultant
Gary moved into recruitment shortly after graduating from Aberdeen University and joined Keillar Resourcing at the beginning of 2007. Working as a sales support consultant, he trained under the more experienced consultants, taking a brief foray into hiring on the bancassurance front with an affiliated outsourcer. Having spent the last 18 months as a resourcer, honing his technical knowledge, Gary now specialises, for the most part, in IFA sales roles.
Brian Bell, Consultant
After graduating from university with an MA(Hons), Brian developed a highly successful sales management career. Some years later, he moved into financial services recruitment and this natural progression allowed him to bring over a decade of account management and sales experience and apply it into the recruitment environment. With in excess of 15 years combined account management, sales and recruitment experience under his belt, Brian has developed several key client relationships founded on loyalty and the introduction of high calibre regulated financial professionals. His remit within the business encompasses IFAs, wealth managers and bancassurance.
