Harris Keillar, Managing Director
Harris has over twenty five years' recruitment experience, with the majority being within financial services. MBA qualified, he was a director with one of the large nationals prior to opening Keillar Resourcing in 1996. Much of his time is spent advising clients and candidates on their career options and assisting client companies with their expansion plans. Successful placements have included Head of Sales for Asia, Senior Underwriter in Sydney, Head of Sales for an asset management house and a multi-lingual Head of Marketing for an offshore office. Harris is Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Institute of Recruitment Professionals. All Keillar Resourcing employees pride themselves on operating in a highly ethical way, treating candidates and clients with integrity at all times.
Paul Mullarkey, Recruitment Consultant
Paul has worked in financial services for over 15 years, initially as a broker consultant within life and asset management and latterly as an IFA, giving him a great deal of insight into both sides of the market. Paul is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and is now studying towards his Diploma in Recruitment Practice. Having joined Keillar in 2011, Paul is a key account manager looking after UK life companies and he also recruits advisers into IFA and wealth management roles.
Gary Strachan, Recruitment Consultant
Gary moved into recruitment shortly after graduating from Aberdeen University and joined Keillar Resourcing at the beginning of 2007. Working as a recruitment consultant, he trained under the more experienced consultants, taking a brief foray into hiring on the bancassurance front with an affiliated outsourcer.
David Hill Chartered MCSI
Having previously worked for Brewin Dolphin and Barclays Wealth, David entered recruitment in 2000. As an ‘Executive Recruiter’, his focus is on ‘buy side’ recruitment, covering investment and wealth management assignments across the UK. Assignments have included investment management, investment research, discretionary and intermediary sales, marketing, product development and risk management. Clients have encompassed global providers, boutiques and regional firms, offering both traditional and alternative products.
David is a Chartered Member of the Securities Institute, having passed the Securities Institute Diploma, the IMC and the Financial Planning Certificate.
David's outside interests include golf, cricket, supporting rugby, keeping the dog out of trouble (fail) and taking the dog to new pubs.
