Our client is a prestigious, international Financial Services organisation, operating as a group of individual, specialist companies. The Group has been established  for over 30 years, throughout which time it has grown organically & via acquisition. The company provides financial planning advice & services in the UK & overseas for private clients, companies & their employees. Its Head Office is in the North West of England.

The company is now seeking to appoint a Head of Client Relations in respect of its International Employee Benefits division, based at its UK Head Office in the North West of England. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing relationships with the company’s key clients
  • Managing relationships with the company’s International partners and other branches of its International  EB business
  • Managing a client-facing Adviser in the UK
  • Recruiting additional UK Advisers
  • Instigating and executing a process for winning EB business in the UK
  • Advising major clients in the UK
  • Annual sales trips to USA, meeting clients and introducers in Boston, Washington, NYC & San Francisco
  • One or two trips a year to Holland to meet JV partners
  • Reporting to the CEO, who is based in Holland
  • Liaising with the Group Admin Manager to ensure all admin tasks are completed


Key skills, experience & qualifications required:

  • At least 5 years’ solid experience & demonstrable record of success in an EB advisory environment
  • Some relevant qualifications would be helpful e.g. Certificate in Insurance; IF7; IF8; GRI etc. but are not essential – experience & track record are equally important
  • Articulate, with excellent communication & relationship management skills
  • Strong influencing & leadership skills
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Highly motivated, determined & ambitious

Remuneration & benefits:

  • Salary £50K, reviewable after 6 months
  • Car Allowance
  • Profit related bonus – OTE in first year £75K
  • Potential for Directorship/Equity
