This is a completely new role for an expanding division of an established company.  Depending on your experience, you will be involved in drafting procedures and processes and building a full compliance department.  

Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • Be at the forefront of key regulatory changes relevant to the Defined Benefit and Pension transfer sector, provide impact analysis of such changes and ensure proactive communication with the business to develop appropriate policy and framework to manage the changes.
  • Provide day to day advice and guidance to the business on compliance related matters and technical issues relating to our sector.
  • Be accountable for the implementation of compliance related policies which require close collaboration with the business.
  • Prepare and execute your own bespoke annual Compliance Plan for the business which includes regulatory reporting, sampling and returns.
  • Liaison with Regulators in the UK and provision of support during the Company’s audits and reviews.

ideally you'll have worked in the Pensions Industry in a Compliance role for at least 3 years and have had exposure to dealing with Regulators in the UK.
