Job Title:                Director, Head of Business

Location:                Ideally the North of England, but flexible

Remuneration:       Basic to £100,000 + additional short and long term benefits

Summary of position: a recently established and rapidly expanding short term lending provider are looking for an experienced and dedicated Director to lead and develop the UK operation. The successful post-holder will be experienced in the UK lending market in terms of regulation, operations as well as business development. You will be passionate, driven and enthusiastic with customer experience at the heart of your professional approach. Experience in the UK lending market is essential, ideally within the consumer credit sector. This is a really exciting opportunity for an individual to develop and grow a new UK based lending business.

Primary Responsibilities: Strategic - Act as Director of the UK lending business - Instigate and oversee the strategic planning and development of the UK lending business - Promote and build the brand across all aspects of the business - Develop and report on key business development matrix and develop effective MI reporting - Develop, implement and maintain operational plans, processes and budgets - Develop and execute business plans - Report to the Board and Shareholders on business performance across all areas of responsibility

Business Development:  Be responsible for all aspects of business development of the UK lending business - Represent the business at functions and promote the brand and products of the Company at the highest level - Create and develop a successful business development team - Be involved in commercial negotiations ensuring that the business obtains a competitive advantage through in its dealings and commercial arrangements - Manage relationships with introducers ensuring that business targets are met - Work with relevant parties to oversee the development of new products and services - Proactively seek out new clients and revenue streams - Develop CS policies and procedures to ensure both high client attraction and retention rates

Compliance;  Ensure that the business complies with any and all licensing requirements - Assist in the development, implementation and ongoing management of all business risks, including the development of a comprehensive risk management framework - Develop and oversee relevant compliance processes to ensure that the operations of the business are conducted not only in a compliant matter but also with customer care at the heart of operations
