Role                 Investment professional – Level 4-6 qualified

Location           UK - close to an international airport – possibly Dubai

Income             c£75 – 85000 + bonus to £110 / 115000

This role is open solely due to expansion and to a certain extent will be built round you as you would be the first person in the post.  You need to be an experienced investment professional with an in depth knowledge of working on a consultative investment basis with intermediaries and institutions and their underlying clients. Your experience could be purely UK, though you would need to have both an interest and ability in travelling extensively internationally.  You would be covering Africa, Asia and the Middle East – possibly some input into Europe too.

Developing and maintaining discretionary fund / investment management relationships is a key focus and priority. Performance will be defined in terms of embedding the existing fund management proposition within the professional adviser’s investment process as a key outsourced provider. The role also involves supporting the fund group’s advisers in winning and maintaining investment mandates, through all of the investment propositions.

The focus of the role will be to present the investment strategies and funds to clients and prospects globally. The investment knowledge required is at a level to replace presentations and support provided by Investment Directors at the group’s delegated investment managers. This will involve formal presentation to large audiences as well as one to one meetings.

You will accompany the Business Development Manager in his / her region and present the technical investment profile and policy in a clear way.  This is why you need to be well qualified.

Professional Experience

  • Qualified to Level 6 RDR compliant.
  • Maintain professional standards through active participation in CPD programme.
  • CF30 registered or equivalent
  • Discretionary Fund Management experience with a previous investment discipline.
  • Must have several years’ experience working within the intermediated investment market place, with an emphasis on segregated fund management advice and influence, alongside relationship development capabilities.  Ideally you will have international experience, though this is NOT essential

If you have the right background and can travel then this is an amazing role.  Interviews will be held in London in August.
