Senior Sales & Marketing Manager


Reporting directly into the Managing Director the assumption is that the successful individual will in the medium term buy into the business, creating for themselves real wealth.

  1. Responsible for planning, implementing and directing the sales and marketing activities of the Practice to achieve agreed sales objectives/ targets.
  2. To manage the day to day marketing activities of the business and its medium and long term marketing strategy.
  1. To work with the Senior Management Team, having overall responsibility and accountability for the management of both the Adviser and Marketing teams within the Practice including:


  • Growth targets
  • Productivity
  • Recruitment (of Advisers)
  • Retention
  • Adviser development
  • Marketing campaigns and lead generation initiatives
  • Business development

By nature the role will require highly developed communication and influencing abilities. The need to handle a demanding workload while retaining a focus on the key strategic outcomes is essential.

Sales Management responsibilities

  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve business sales goals and revenues
  • Agree and set individual sales targets with each Adviser
  • Create and co-ordinate sales action plans for every Adviser
  • On a day  to day basis oversee the activities and performance of the Adviser team
  • Ensure the Adviser team has the necessary resources to perform properly
  • Monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the Adviser team, and initiate remedial action as and when necessary
  • Liaise with other business functions (e.g. Marketing and AST) to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Evaluate performance of each Adviser at least monthly
  • Provide feedback, support and coaching to the Adviser team
  • Plan and direct monthly sales meetings and team training
